Refund & Cancellation Policy

This is a plain-English summary of how cancellations and refunds work at
Foreman AI Blueprints, written so you know exactly what to expect before you
agree to a paid plan. This document supplements (and is incorporated by
reference into) our Terms of Service. Where this
page and the Terms of Service overlap, the Terms of Service control on any
legal question; this page controls on questions of operational practice.
1. You can cancel anytime — one click, no friction
- Cancellation is a single click from your Billing
dashboard. No phone call, no retention specialist, no "are you sure"
gauntlet. Available 24/7.
- The cancel mechanism is at least as easy as the signup mechanism, in
compliance with the FTC's "Click-to-Cancel" rule and equivalent state
laws.
- You may also cancel by emailing
hello@foremanai.co from the
email address on your account. We process email cancellations within
one business day and back-date the cancellation to the time stamp on
your email so you are not charged for the gap.
2. Free-trial cancellation
- Every paid plan starts with a 3-day free trial. During
the trial you have full product access and your card on file is
not charged.
- If you cancel before the trial-end timestamp, your card is never
charged and your account drops to the free tier.
- We send two pre-bill reminder emails: one approximately
24 hours before your trial ends, and one approximately 1 hour before.
Each contains the exact charge amount, the exact charge date, and a
one-click cancel link.
- If you do not cancel before the trial-end timestamp, your card on file
is charged for the first month of the plan you selected at signup and
your subscription begins. This conversion is disclosed in the
checkbox you check at signup and in our
Terms of Service §4.
3. 14-day refund window
You may request a full refund of any paid charge for any reason
within fourteen (14) calendar days of the charge date. To
request a refund within the 14-day window:
- Email hello@foremanai.co from
the email address on your account.
- Include your account email and a one-line note. No justification or
evidence is required during the 14-day window.
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within
5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer
or payment provider.
- If you submit a refund request through our payment processor's
buyer-support portal (e.g., PayPal), the processor will route the
request to us and we will honor it on the same terms as a direct
email request.
The 14-day window starts on the date the charge appears on your statement.
Refund requests submitted on day 14 are honored; requests submitted on day
15 or later are evaluated under Section 4 below.
In addition to the 14-day window, we operate a proactive refund practice
for charges that look unintended. If a charge fires while the cancel
mechanism errored, or if no meaningful product usage occurred after an
auto-conversion charge, we will refund in full regardless of the 14-day
clock.
4. Refund requests after the 14-day window
After the 14-day window has passed, refunds are evaluated on a
case-by-case basis. We will consider a refund or partial refund where:
- A technical defect prevented you from using a feature you paid for
and we were not able to resolve it within a reasonable time.
- You were billed in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge to a
cancelled account, etc.).
- A non-waivable consumer-protection statute in your jurisdiction
requires a refund.
Outside those circumstances, refunds for periods in which you used the
product to generate work product (chat messages, documents, takeoffs, RFI
packets, budgets, exported PDFs, integration emails, etc.) are not
guaranteed. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period
and you retain access until then; we do not generally pro-rate mid-cycle
cancellations.
If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, email us first. We
respond within one business day and try to resolve everything before any
dispute or chargeback is filed.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
- If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us
first at
hello@foremanai.co. We will
respond within one business day with the timestamp of the charge, the
product usage that occurred during the billing period, and either a
refund or a written explanation of why the charge stands.
- Filing a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us
first does not get your money back faster — it triggers a dispute
process that takes 30-60 days while your card issuer reviews evidence.
It also costs us a dispute fee whether we win or lose. We'd rather
just refund a legitimate complaint.
- For chargebacks filed after meaningful product use, we will submit
evidence to your card issuer demonstrating consent, delivery of the
Services, and the lack of cancellation — including the timestamped
consent checkbox, the IP address from which you signed up, the device
fingerprint, the pre-bill reminder emails we sent, and the work
product generated by your account. This is the same Visa
"Compelling Evidence 3.0" / Mastercard "First-Party Trust" evidence
set that the networks themselves designed for this purpose.
6. How to cancel or request a refund
- Cancel a subscription: log in, click your avatar, click
Billing, click "Cancel subscription" at the top
of the page. One click. Effective immediately for trial users; at the
end of the current paid period for paying users.
- Request a refund: email
hello@foremanai.co from the
address on your account. Include your account email and a one-line
description of why. We respond within one business day.
- Dispute help: if you opened a chargeback by mistake,
contact your card issuer and ask them to withdraw the dispute — then
email us and we will process the refund directly. Withdrawn disputes
are faster and cheaper for everyone.
